Entourage Season 3 Episode 7

Originally aired: Sunday July 23, 2006 on HBO

Strange Days Recap
The guys are hanging out at breakfast and giving Eric a hard time for waking up the night before 'snuggling' the third girl in his threesome. Eric tells them that his girl, Sloan, is setting up her charity event that morning, and he wants them to come with him as a reason to get for staying too long.
Along the way, Ari gives Eric a call to find out how Vince is holding up after being dumped from the Aquaman 2 movie. Ari promises E that he'll bounce back, and Eric reminds Ari he can tell him in person at Sloan's charity event. Ari promises he'll show as long as his meeting goes well with his ex-boss, Sloan's father, Terrance.
The meeting with Ari and Terrance Sloan is concerning Ari settlement for departing the company. The twoquickly quiet their lawyers and decide to talk it through. Terrance starts by offering Ari $4 million. Ari's response is "Fuck You," and states he is the reason the agency is successful, and he has the time and money to prove it. As Ari starts to storm out, Terrance ups his offer to $10 million. Ari askes for 12 and they quickly settle on $11 million.
The boys get to Sloan's setup, and start with basic chit-chat. Vince, being poliet, offers to do anything if she needs something. It turns out one of the celebrity dinner dates has cancelled and she askes Vince to step up in the open spot. with some hesitation, Vince agrees to be sold for charity.Sloan steps away on the phone, forcing Eric to make a quick "Hi' with Tori (the third girl). She quickly escapes back to her hotel and the guys all agree she was acting cold toward E. Eric freaks out and wants to apologize, which the others think is just a bad idea. They feel there's no reason for any apology.
Post Terrance meeting, Ari interupts his wife's lunch with her friends, gives her a huge ring, and steals his bride to a secret location. The secret location is the office space that Ari wishes to buy for his own agency, the new "Gold Standard". His wife askes if they have the money, but Ari convinces her they've been planing this purchase for months and the time is right.
Eric show's up at Tori's hotel in order to apologize. As he hit's the pool deck, he bumps into actor Seth Green. They quickly chat and Seth askes Eric how Sloan is. Eric appears unaware Seth knew Sloan, and Seth askes him to tell Sloan "hi" for him. Eric breaks off from Seth and finds Tori pool side and askes to have a drink with her.
Over the drink, Eric formally apologizes to her for "the way we woke up." They agree it was a bit weird, yet Eric askes that Tori not say anything to Sloan, not knowing how Sloan would take the information. Tori agrees it was kinda funny when they woke up spooning, but she thinks that Sloan would find it much weirder that Eric came all the way to her hotel right then. Despite only wanting to apologize, Tori hopes that all it really is. She had a good time the other night, but him coming to talk with her behind Sloan's back is what is making her uncomfortable.
Ari and his wife are walking out of the office space (after just fooling around upstairs) and begin to walk down the street to the car. However, right when they are about to get into the car, Adam Davies drives by. Davies was the one that ratted Ari out the previous year and the person that caused him to lose his job. They quickly dive behind the car because he doesn't want anyone to know he's looking at office spaces just yet. If word gets outs Ari is starting an agency, Ari is concerned Terrance with change the details of the deal. But when they finally stand up, Davies is still there waiting for them.
Eric gets back to the house and is complaining that Tori is calling him a stalker. The guys make a valid point to E, asking why he feels he needs to apologize to Tori when he really should be apologizing to his girlfriend? Turtle begins to wonder if there is a bigger meaning to the snuggle, implying that Eric is beginning to have feelings for Tori, over Sloan.
While getting ready for Sloan's event, Eric confesses to Vince that during the threesome, he wanted Tori bad. Now, he can't stop thinking about her and he's feeling guilty. Vince assures him it was just a big tease and his feelings will be gone once Tori is out of his life, after the event.
The guys arrive at the auction, and Tori is looking great. Sloan stops by to greet Eric and steal Vince for a moment, wanting to show off the auction's top prize. Ari and his wife are also at the auction, and Ari is attempting to win vacation destinations for the two of them. His wife continues to suggest they shouldn't spend any more money until the deal is final.
Tori stops by Eric's group and peels him off for a quick drink. She tells Eric she didn't want to come off as harsh or make him feel that something was wrong. She thinks he truly is a nice guy. Eric then askes if she's been in many threesomes, which she responds a few more than him. When asked how Sloan and Eric did, Tori says she really can't say how Eric was. Eric mentions how it was Sloan's rules, and Tori suggests she could catch a later flight and perhaps see if some of those rules can be relaxed that night.
Leaving the stage, Vince is getting comments from all the ladies in the audience. Vince runs into a waitress and ask her to buy him, but she feels she couldn't avoid him. Vince says he'd loan her the money.
Showing off her new ring to 'friends,' Ari's wife feels the need to lie about the diamonds fearing that word will leak about Ari's settlement. She goes back to complain to Ari, who explains the secret is only the office space, not the fact that they have money.
Eric seems to have reached his breaking point with Tori's flirting, and just wants to leave the party. Vince notices Eric across the party and breaks off conversation with the waitress in order to catch Eric at the door. Eric explains to Vince he can't be around them both in the same room. Eric wants to just take Tori in the coatroom, which isn't like him. Which is why he needs to leave because he thinks Sloan will see right through him. Vince offers to tell the girls he's sick and instructs Eric to go home.
Before he can leave, Sloan catches Eric walking out. He uses his "I'm sick' excuse and she suggests for him to crash at her place. She's just has to finish the party and wait for Tori to catch her ride to the airport. Eric agrees and leaves the party.
The annoucements for winners is underway and Ari is waiting to see which prizes are his. Davies shows up and tells Ari he wants in. He knows about the office space and Davies wants in on the new agency. Ari tells him off, continuing to deny the office space story and says they would never work well together. Davies threatens to ask Terrance what he thinks of it. Ari then begins to win vacation after vacation, causing Terrance to ask Ari what else he has purchased? Ari can only toast to the comment.
The winner of Vince's date is Molly Burns, an elderly women who goes on stage to claim her prize. But Vince is no where to be found, because he's fooling around with the waitress in the coatroom.
Eric is asleep in Sloan's bed, but is awake when Tori and her come back to the apartment. Tori missed her flight and plans to leave the following morning. She'll crash on the couch in the mean time. Before Tori leaves, Eric pretends to get a drink of water in order to have one last conversation. He askes if both of them want this. Tori's reply is "Does it matter?" and tells Eric he has a great girl with Sloan. She urges him not to mess it up.

Entourage Season 3 Episode 6

Originally aired: Sunday July 16, 2006 on HBO

The showdown between Vince and the studio intensifies over Aquaman 2 vs. Medellin, and Ari is popping every vein to bring the two sides together. Adding to his aggravation, his prize client refuses to talk to him until he lands Johnny Drama a role. This is a tall order considering Drama's current lack of star power.
Eric gets the offer of a lifetime when Sloan suggests they get together with her gorgeous friend Tori for a threesome. Before any action ensues, Sloan lays down some ground rules for her boyfriend, making it clear she's not willing to share all of him. After the trio spends a night together, Eric wakes up to find himself spooning Tori, which sends Eric into a tailspin.
The studio ups the ante for Vince and plays hardball with Ari, threatening to shut off access to their projects for all of his clients if he fails to deliver "the pretty boy." A last minute audition for Drama (procured by Lloyd) finally opens the lines of communication with Vince a little too late, Ari delivers news Vince doesn't want to hear: Medellin is off the table, the role has gone to Benicio Del Toro. After Ari convinces him he has no choice, Vince finally agrees to do Aquaman 2 - for the original offer, on principle - and he never wants to work with the studio again afterwards. But when Vince fails to show for a breakfast with the studio chief the next day, the offer is rescinded. They're dumping him from A2, leaving everybody's future in doubt.

Entourage Season 3 Episode 5

Originally aired: Sunday July 9, 2006 on HBO

With help from Ari and Eric, Vince puts the heat on the studio to delay "Aquaman 2" so he can film his dream project, "Medellin." They manage to buy a 65-day window, but "Medellin" director Paul Haggis can't see himself chopping his script or trimming the shooting schedule. Eric comes up with a solution, convincing the director to shoot part of the script after Aquaman, and everyone's happy. Vince sets up a meeting with the head of Warner Brothers to tell him the good news.
Meanwhile, Ari is still preoccupied with his daughter's romance with Max. He undermines one of his own kid clients, recommending Max to Penny Marshall as the lead for her tween terror film shooting in Kazakhstan. Turtle requests a sit down with Ari when Saigon starts getting heavy play on the radio and the calls from labels come rolling in. When Drama calls "shotgun" on Turtle's lunch with Ari, he finally gets Mr. Gold Standard to agree to represent him.
They're all in for a surprise when Vince meets with the studio head, who has changed his mind on "Medellin". He can't have Aquaman "doing three hours of blow on every multiplex in the country." Beside himself, Vince demands $20 million to do the sequel. "What'd I miss?" Ari asks when he arrives late for the dinner.

Entourage Season 3 Episode 4

Originally aired: Sunday July 2, 2006 on HBO

To return the favor, Eric gets up early Monday (6am) and hopes to wake Ari up, much like Ari did to him on Friday of Aquaman opening. Too bad for E, Ari is already awake and working the exercise bike. E is looking for offers for Vinny's next movie, now that Aquaman is the number one movie in America. Ari ensures him the offers came and schedules a meeting.
The guys try to hurry Vin out to Ari's office, hoping Dom misses the ride. Dom however catches them in the driveway and continues to take Turtles role as driver.
Ari goes over some of the offers for Vinny.
Flight: Dead Poet's Society in space. Darren Aronofsky directed. $8 million offer.
The Sandman: Vinnie works a red cross tent in the Sahara. Being There meets Lawerance of Arabia. David O Russell film. $9 million offer.
Ari's dumps these in the trash along with a stack load of others. Because Vinnie's dream role is within reach, Medellin. Phil Rubenstein ("the animation king") is producing and Paul Haggis is directing. They both like Vinnie, but the boys need to work some charm to get in. Phil's throwing a kick off party in Santa Barbara for some cult wine and the gang's hoping to work some magic there.
The boys all get some new threads and take a helicopter to the party. Drama tries to give his bro some "man charm" tips while Dom is hoping just to pressure Phil into making an offer. Phil asks to talk with Vinnie alone a bit, much to the hesitation of Ari. After twenty minutes, Ari gets worried and then notices that Dom has made is way over to Phil and Vinnie's conversation.
Everyone rushes over to help pull Dom away, hoping he didn't ruin the deal already. But Phil wants Vinnie's friends to stay, saying he gets a better feel of who Vinnie really is and where he came from.
Dom offers to tell a story that "sums up Vinnie," and Phil asks to hear it. The story involves a younger Vinnie and him out at a club. Vinnie heads out with some girl, leaving Dom to get "zonked" until the end of the night. Heading out, he realizes that his car has be stolen and reports it to the cops, only to realize that he didn't even drive. By this time he's in the back of the cop car and remembers there's three bench warrants out for his arrest. He accidentally turned himself in and calls Vince at 3:00 to post bail. Phil laughs it up and the guys toast to friendship. Ari thinks he's getting a offer in the morning, telling Vince that Phil thinks he is a street kid. It's possible that Dom's story made that connection and this deal happen.
Next morning, things are not good however. At the party, someone stole the original Shrek doll from Phil's house, and the cops are all over it. Ari's concerned that Dom's little jail house stories might make him think he was involved.
E and Vince take Dom to lunch to try and determine if it was him. Dom pledges his loyalty and says he didn't do this, but not without rubbing his ear and snorting through part of his statement. Later, E claims to Vince that the snorting was his tell from poker, and still doubts that Dom is telling the truth.
Under orders from E, Drama and Turtle are back at the house, looking for the doll. When the guys get back, they hint to E that nothing has been found.
Phil's on the phone with Ari, and he seems to think Dom was involved; his maid saw him upstairs during the party. Ari tries his best to calm him down and hopes he won't throw away this movie because of a hunch. Phil says he only cares about getting his doll back.
Ari calls E and say's that it's the doll or Medellin. E claims that they need proof, so Ari says he'd go get some.
The two show up at the house with a tape that proves that Dom stole the doll. They give Dom a chance to come clean without looking like an idiot on camera. Dom holds continues to claim he didn't do it and the tape starts to roll. But... it's Ari's daughter's bat mitzvah. Dom called his bluff.. but Vince finally sees the lie. After Ari leaves, Vince calls Dom out, pointing out that Dom was scratching his neck when talking with Ari. That was his tell in poker.
Dom confesses and gives the doll over (it was tied to his calf.) The guys have to decide what to do now. Turtle has the idea, they just go to Phil's house and toss it over the fence. While heading to the house to "return" the doll, we find out that Dom has moved out, but Vince gave him the apartment and a new hummer.
Vince and E meet up with Ari at his office to find out that doll has somehow been returned (surprise!)and that an offer has been received. The problem is that Warner Brothers has just green-lit Aquaman 2, and it's the same day as Medellin.

Entourage Season 3 Episode 3

Originally aired: Sunday June 25, 2006 on HBO

Aquaman opened at number one at the box office and Ari is treating the boys to dinner. "Aquaman: The Ride" is opening at the Six Flags and Vinny needs to be an appearance for the grand opening. Ari needs to hurry home after dinner because his daughter is having a boy over, Max Ballard, a child actor of The Young 21 Jump Street.
The guys get home to find the front door open and the dog, Arnold, yelping inside. They decide to investigate themselves and find they're old buddy Dom watching some porn on their tv. He's been in prison for five years but has been let out on parole for good behaviour. Eric is not too happy Dom is with them, but the others seem happy to see him (for now).
Ari gets home to his daughter and Max on the couch watching TV. Ari is freaking out in the kitchen hoping nothing is happening "out of line" between them. After too much silence, he barges in the living room and asks Max to leave. Max tells "Mr. Gold" that he plans to go to Six Flags for the Aquaman ride opening, figuring it's good press.
While the guys are hanging with Dom at the club, Vinny get E alone to find out why he's being a dick to Dom. E claims that he's guilting Vin into helping him out. Vinny feelings he's the reason that Dom ever went the jail.
The story seems to go:
Dom got caught with two joints that were Vinny's a couple years ago. Apparently, Dom would have got off easy but he later punched a cop in the face. Vinny claims there wouldn't have been cops around if it wasn't for that weed. Vinny is holding strong that if Dom messes something up while visiting, he'll deal with it then.
Ari is up late that night monitoring his daughter chatting online. He goes into her bedroom and takes her laptop from her, claiming that his is broken and he needs to borrow hers.
After the first night out with Dom, Dom presents a screenplay that he wrote while in prison. He wants E to read it and thinks Vinny is perfect for the role.
The whole house wakes up at 5:30 in the morning to Dom having sex with some girl he ordered from the "L.A. Express" paper. Immediately following, Dom decides to catch up with the guys in the kitchen, but doesn't decide to put any clothes on. He continues to make small talk naked for the rest of the scene.
Dom then decides he wants to make some breakfast for everyone. Drama, being the cook of the house, takes offense to someone taking his job. Vinny steps up and tells Drama to lay back, which he does with hesitation.
Ari doesn't want his daughter to come with them to the water park because he doesn't want her to see Max. She freaks out like any teenage girl would and runs to her room.
As the guys are heading out to the water park, Dom wants to drive. Turtle gets upset because he's normally the driver. Dom once again uses Vinny friendship to win the fight, and Turtle is sent to the backseat with E and Drama.
While stopping for gas, Turtle and Drama catch Dom stealing some candy. Eric recommends to Vinny that he talk with Dom before the big premiere event at Six Flags.
The crowd goes wild for Vinny at the amusement park, but Dom gets into a fight with a camera guy taking pictures of Vinny. Vinny needs to step in to quickly cool down the situation. Vinny goes on to cut the ribbon and accept a key to the park.
Drama and Turtle take E aside and tell him that they need Dom out, complaining that four is the perfect number and he's just getting in the way. E feels that they all just need to wait it out. Dom's on parole, and Eric hopes he'll get sent back to jail soon enough.
Ari catches Max with another girl and thinks that he's two-timing his daughter. Max claims they're "not exclusive" while Ari wants them to be nothing all. Ari threatens to squash him if he tries anything.
The whole group jumps on the Flume of Doom, Aquaman's ride. While climbing the first hill, E asks Vinny how Dom's parole works and how long he's out of prison. Vinny tells him it's as long as he wants if he can find a job. Eric gets a moment of relief, happy that Dom doesn't have a chance to hold a job. Vin then drops the bomb on E, telling him he's making Dom head of his security.
Let the roller coaster begin.

Entourage Season 3 Episode 2

Originally aired: Sunday June 18, 2006 on HBO

Aquaman has it's opening day and everyone's awaiting the numbers to begin rolling in. Ari has an ear to the East coast's first-reports and things are looking good. Aquaman begins the day looking like a $95 million dollar grosser, perhaps even cross $100 mil. But the boys start to hope for bigger dreams, taking Spiderman off it's $114 million record breaking weekend.
Vinny wants to go out to the Valley to catch the movie, but Drama complains about the heat. The west coast is roasting at 105 degrees, but people are still turning out for Aquaman and the guys show up to a packed house. During the showing, the big climax begins to build. On screen, Aquaman is racing down the pier to take on the grand, evil.. cut to black.... the theater's power goes out. The heat is causing rolling black-outs up and down the coast. How will this hurt the movie's opening weekend?
Stuck in traffic after the movie, Eric hears that Spiderman is in they're sights. Vinny decides to celebrate by treating his boys to a set of Ducati motorcycles. Waiting outside for the blackouts to pass, some high school kids followed Vinny over from the theater and ask him to they're party. The guys decide to check it out, figuring they'll be waiting hours to get home anyway.
Meanwhile, Ari and his wife continue their dysfunction marriage, this time stressing over the amount of sex they are having. Ari is all business and during this movie release, apparently he's not getting the task done between the sheets.
The high school party is everything to be expected. Vince and E remember back to the days when the numbers didn't matter and it was all about having fun. They decide to get hammered and make the kids' night. Despite the threat the black outs on Aquaman's success, in the end, the black outs hurt the computers that calculate ticket sales more than the sales themselves. Aquamans looks to gross $116 million. Now that's something to party about.
Riding the high from the news, Vince makes the two high schoolers' day by giving them his Maserati to help them impress the girls.

Entourage Season 3 Episode 1

HBO

It's premiere week for "Aquaman", and Vince, E, Drama and Turtle are making sure their 50 ticket allotment is given to the hottest girls in SoCal. While meeting with Ari at his new "low-rent" office (Lloyd's handing out quarters for parking meters and the elevator's out), Ari wants to make sure that Vince shows up to the premiere with the proper date, not just "the boys."
So the big question is who will be on Vince's arm come red carpet walk? After a little "I have a plan" vagueness, Vince decides to make his date announcement on-air at the local radio station, asking out none other than... his own mom. Despite the doubt of brother Drama, the pressure of the on-air listeners causes her to say yes.
While at the radio station, Drama and Turtle meet a pair of ladies that they now want by they're side for the premiere. Only problem is they already handed out all their tickets all around town. Quick call to Ari and telling him that they are for Vince, Ari takes two tickets from actor James Woods' collection, figuring he never uses them all.
Woods later shows up at Ari's office looking for his missing tickets and strong talks poor Lloyd to get them back from Vinny's crew. Drama holds his own and gives Jimmy the "if you want them, come get them" routine. Woods does just than and starts to make threats toward Drama on the front step of the guys' house. Drama gets Woods off his case by slipping an empty Aquaman ticket sleeve through the mail slot, hoping Jim never checks the contexts. Lucky for Drama, it works.
Ari's homelife has it's normal stress. It seems that Ari's wife has been dipping into her savings account (er... daddy's savings from her) to help them get back on their feet. Ari's confident that Vinny is the next big thing and that they'll be fine once Aquaman blows up at the box office.
Meanwhile, Vinny's mom didn't get on the plane from New York and wants Eric to break the bad news to him. This causes some turmoil which E needs to resolve. He needs Vince's mom to come to Cali, and the only way that was possible was for his and Turtle's mom to come to the premiere too.
The episode ends with the whole entourage walking the red carpet, dressed to impress, with their respective moms on their arms.
