Entourage Season 3 Episode 4

Originally aired: Sunday July 2, 2006 on HBO

To return the favor, Eric gets up early Monday (6am) and hopes to wake Ari up, much like Ari did to him on Friday of Aquaman opening. Too bad for E, Ari is already awake and working the exercise bike. E is looking for offers for Vinny's next movie, now that Aquaman is the number one movie in America. Ari ensures him the offers came and schedules a meeting.
The guys try to hurry Vin out to Ari's office, hoping Dom misses the ride. Dom however catches them in the driveway and continues to take Turtles role as driver.
Ari goes over some of the offers for Vinny.
Flight: Dead Poet's Society in space. Darren Aronofsky directed. $8 million offer.
The Sandman: Vinnie works a red cross tent in the Sahara. Being There meets Lawerance of Arabia. David O Russell film. $9 million offer.
Ari's dumps these in the trash along with a stack load of others. Because Vinnie's dream role is within reach, Medellin. Phil Rubenstein ("the animation king") is producing and Paul Haggis is directing. They both like Vinnie, but the boys need to work some charm to get in. Phil's throwing a kick off party in Santa Barbara for some cult wine and the gang's hoping to work some magic there.
The boys all get some new threads and take a helicopter to the party. Drama tries to give his bro some "man charm" tips while Dom is hoping just to pressure Phil into making an offer. Phil asks to talk with Vinnie alone a bit, much to the hesitation of Ari. After twenty minutes, Ari gets worried and then notices that Dom has made is way over to Phil and Vinnie's conversation.
Everyone rushes over to help pull Dom away, hoping he didn't ruin the deal already. But Phil wants Vinnie's friends to stay, saying he gets a better feel of who Vinnie really is and where he came from.
Dom offers to tell a story that "sums up Vinnie," and Phil asks to hear it. The story involves a younger Vinnie and him out at a club. Vinnie heads out with some girl, leaving Dom to get "zonked" until the end of the night. Heading out, he realizes that his car has be stolen and reports it to the cops, only to realize that he didn't even drive. By this time he's in the back of the cop car and remembers there's three bench warrants out for his arrest. He accidentally turned himself in and calls Vince at 3:00 to post bail. Phil laughs it up and the guys toast to friendship. Ari thinks he's getting a offer in the morning, telling Vince that Phil thinks he is a street kid. It's possible that Dom's story made that connection and this deal happen.
Next morning, things are not good however. At the party, someone stole the original Shrek doll from Phil's house, and the cops are all over it. Ari's concerned that Dom's little jail house stories might make him think he was involved.
E and Vince take Dom to lunch to try and determine if it was him. Dom pledges his loyalty and says he didn't do this, but not without rubbing his ear and snorting through part of his statement. Later, E claims to Vince that the snorting was his tell from poker, and still doubts that Dom is telling the truth.
Under orders from E, Drama and Turtle are back at the house, looking for the doll. When the guys get back, they hint to E that nothing has been found.
Phil's on the phone with Ari, and he seems to think Dom was involved; his maid saw him upstairs during the party. Ari tries his best to calm him down and hopes he won't throw away this movie because of a hunch. Phil says he only cares about getting his doll back.
Ari calls E and say's that it's the doll or Medellin. E claims that they need proof, so Ari says he'd go get some.
The two show up at the house with a tape that proves that Dom stole the doll. They give Dom a chance to come clean without looking like an idiot on camera. Dom holds continues to claim he didn't do it and the tape starts to roll. But... it's Ari's daughter's bat mitzvah. Dom called his bluff.. but Vince finally sees the lie. After Ari leaves, Vince calls Dom out, pointing out that Dom was scratching his neck when talking with Ari. That was his tell in poker.
Dom confesses and gives the doll over (it was tied to his calf.) The guys have to decide what to do now. Turtle has the idea, they just go to Phil's house and toss it over the fence. While heading to the house to "return" the doll, we find out that Dom has moved out, but Vince gave him the apartment and a new hummer.
Vince and E meet up with Ari at his office to find out that doll has somehow been returned (surprise!)and that an offer has been received. The problem is that Warner Brothers has just green-lit Aquaman 2, and it's the same day as Medellin.
